I have been in the business for over 30 years and still find great enjoyment in my work! Before I developed my passion for travel photography, nearly twenty years ago, I was more focused on advertising photography and worked for several advertising agencies and retailers.

From 1990 to 1997 I had the wonderful opportunity of working for KLM, the Royal Dutch Airlines on a freelance basis. This job opened my eyes to the world. I have been to countries like South-Africa, Bangladesh, the Dutch Antilles, Puerto Rico and cities like Berlin, New York, Paris, Lisbon, Dresden and London.

From 1998 to 2005 I have worked for HT Wandelreizen, a Dutch tourism agency specialised in walking tours and hiking holidays. This tourism agency granted me with literally breath-taking experiences in Nepal, Mongolia, Patagonia and Tanzania.

My passion for travel photography was soon developed. Travelling has coloured my life. Everywhere I go I realise that there is beauty everywhere, there is love in every culture, a tear in everyones biography and a smile in everyones present. There are so many differences and yet many similarities between people all over the world and it fascinates me every time.
